Depository Participant Services:
We offer depository services through our public company, Nepal DP Ltd., which we established along with nine other stockbroking companies. Nepal DP Ltd. provides the following services:
- Offering other services as allowed by securities laws and regulations.
- Opening DEMAT accounts for investors as Beneficial Owners (BOs).
- Converting physical securities into electronic form (dematerialization).
- Converting electronic securities back to physical form (rematerialization).
- Keeping records of securities in electronic form.
- Settling trades by transferring or receiving securities to/from BO accounts.
- Settling trades that happen outside the stock exchange between BOs.
- Providing electronic credit of securities allotted during IPOs.
- Depositing non-financial corporate benefits (like bonus or right shares) into BOs’ DEMAT accounts.
- Helping with the pledging of dematerialized securities.
Margin Lending Services:
We will soon start offering Margin Lending Services, allowing our clients to trade by investing only a portion of the total amount needed to buy certain shares or stocks, as permitted by the Margin Lending Regulations.
